Alex, very interesting. In a Facebook group, exactly the same response is made to my article. Is your name Liu Yang, or is it Alex Louis? I don't understand why you spent so much time expounding on atheism. It is a distraction. I am neither a theist nor an atheist. My central point is that we use different metaphors to describe what we deem as "Ultimate Reality." Jesus could not have the modern tools and metaphors to describe reality as we understand it today. So, at each age, we have to invent new metaphors and new vocabulary which reflect the latest knowledge and the latest understanding of the world. During Newton's time, the public's understanding of reality is that of a mechanical and deterministic universe. Today, our understanding is much more sophisticated. We now have much more understanding of subatomic particles, quantum mechanics and system theory. That is my central point--that our metaphors have to change and adapt to the new knowledge. Are you going to refute this?
