Celeste: Hey, Ken! What intriguing topic are you delving into today?

Ken: I’m exploring the concept of the “investigation of dharma,” which is recognized as the second factor on the path to enlightenment.

Celeste: That sounds absolutely captivating! The investigation of dharma is such a profound subject. I’m eager to hear your insights on it!

Ken: You always bring such warmth and enthusiasm to our conversations, my dear partner. The essence of investigation lies in resisting the urge to jump to conclusions. Many Buddhists consider doubt undesirable. But the investigation of Dharma requires an open-minded approach and a deliberate suspension of our beliefs, dogmas, and judgments. Without that, true investigation is impossible.

Celeste: That’s a powerful point, Ken. An open mind is essential, not just in exploring dharma but in navigating life as a whole. It allows us to engage fully and learn without the constraints of our preconceived ideas.

Ken: Exactly! We must remain vigilant about our preconceived notions; they can obscure our judgment. Blind faith, in that context, can be quite detrimental.

Celeste: Absolutely! Blind faith can stifle understanding and hinder personal growth, can’t it?
